My dear friend Terri has gotten me so excited over the last month about square foot gardening! Blake built a planter box and we got started this weekend!

We are growing cucumbers, artichoke, basil, carrots, summer squash, giant sunflowers, sweet corn, artichokes, broccoli, lettuce and celery! My mother-in-law is going to be so proud of us.
Everyday after work and school we go out together, water the garden and just play!
Today, the third full day, the cucumber plants have already broken through... we are on our way to amazing yummy fresh vegetables!
