11 Things Addie Loves at 11 Months of Age

11. Throwing herself back when things don't go exactly her way. Her "Mema" and "Ya-Ya" say that it reminds them of her mother - I don't know what they are talking about!

10. Pulling anything and everything out of her hair... so we take every opportunity to practice, even in her PJ's!

9. Drinking bath water constantly... we can't break her of this habit...gross!

8. Biting anything and everything! Poor baby, since she is teething... the most painful part to us is when she gets our shoulders! The current tally is at 4 teeth through on top and 2 on the bottom.

7. Escaping quickly after baths!

6. Pointing at everything saying "dada." Everything she sees and wants is "dada" including dad, mom, Carter, and balls.

5. Her pink puppy dog. Addie got her first baby doll last weekend for Easter but it means nothing to her compared to her pink puppy!

4. Chicken Pot Pie! I know you can't tell by looking at our beautiful girl... but she really doesn't care much for baby food or solid food for that matter! She will take 2-3 bites and then start swatting at everything we give her EXCEPT, in the last month, Marie Claire's Chicken Pot Pies... she loves 'em!

3. STAIRS!!!!

2. Being anywhere with her brother... going where ever he is! She can't get enough!

1. LAUGHING!

Like Father Like Son - Carter is 28 months!

Carter likes to brush his teeth, take showers and pretty much do whatever he can with daddy. Friday morning, Carter decided he wanted to do his hair like daddy too!

Carter has recently refused to use his own clubs and insists hitting only with his father's. This morning Blake finally gave in and said show me what you got...
Carter... you are amazing in our eyes and everyday you do something to blow us away!

Our 1st Easter as a Family of Four!

Addie and Carter getting ready for Grandpa Joe to take everyone on the hay ride!

This was everyone on the hayride!

Mommy and Carter dying Easter eggs! What fun!

We had so much fun with our cousins Macy and Marshall... Carter looks up to them both so much!

Carter holding on tight to his baby sister... such a wonderful big brother!

Hanging out together after the big egg hunt and take inventory of our findings!

After Christmas with Santa... this is this year's "picture with the Easter Bunny!"

For the last 2 years... Carter has "manned" this position here at the lake by himself wating for boats and sea-doo's to come by! Now he has a side-kick!

What a Memorable First Easter for Addie!

Addie's first Easter was filled with egg hunts, where she found lots of money, and enjoying the wonderful lake! It couldn't have been better.

Long Time No See - The Bertoldo Visit!

As many of you know, when Carter was born & I had to go back to work, I was incredibly lucky to have a dear friend from high school and later a college sorority sister, Lauren, offer to take care of Carter. Unfortunately for us, she and her family had to move to College Station for her hubby Nate to pursue the feat of becoming a medical doctor!
Lauren has a now 3 year old son - Ryan, who was 9 months old when Carter started staying with her.
Lauren and Ryan were such an important part of Carter's first year and they experienced so many things together! Like this first trip to the zoo - what 3 month old gets to see elephants!?!?!
This is the boys now - 1 1/2 years since they have been together everyday!
Lauren & Nate have since had a another son - Jackson, who is just 6 days younger than Addie. We finally got them all together for a big play date on Friday... (I bet this week Lauren will post some other cute pics of the play date!)
...it was so fun to see them all interact together and for us to get to reconnect! Lauren is one of my 3 good girlfriends/HEROS that I know of that are FULL TIME STAY AT HOME MOMS! She is an incredible mother and has given me so many awesome tips over the years! Thanks Lauren!
By the way.... Lauren started her own little business to help support her "fun money" while her husband is in medical school. They are very well-made burp clothes, taggies blankets and other great baby items if you need anything! She is going to be selling them at a Regan High School Fundraiser this coming Easter weekend.
