Baby Marcie "Turns 1!"

Earlier this week I decided to make a special breakfast for the kids before they woke up. They were so excited about Cinnamon Streusel Muffins a.k.a CUPCAKES that I had to think fast to come up with a reason as to why they got this special unhealthy breakfast randomly that morning (as not to make it a normal request every single morning in the future.)

Addie was holding her baby named Marcie, who has quickly become a full fledged member of the Brown family, jumping up and down at the thought of CUPCAKES at 7:30 in the morning and I found my out... it suddenly became "Baby Marcie's 1st Birthday Party" and since we all get big special breakfasts complete with hats and decorations, we had to do the same for Marcie! So Happy Birthday Baby Marcie on your new birthday of September 22! I am anxious to see how much you grow over the next year....

"Ella Perkins Wear This Too?????"

This is the question I get every single day, usually twice a day, when we are putting clothes on Addie.

We have created a bit of a monster but taking into consideration that these 2 girls' birthdays are 6 days apart and they have seen each other 80% of all of the days they have been alive (no exageration), 2 dozen matching outfits are not even thought of as crazy anymore for Addie and Ella... actually, it has become the norm. Since late May, the girls have matched every single Wednesday. Here are just a handful of the pics I snapped on my phone during drop off.

This last week, we were even able to coordinate Ella Madrid with the same shirt she had given the girls for their birthday.

I don't think I had ever posted the picture that Kelly Boerckel's sister, Melissa, did for the girls a couple of months ago....

We were invited to enjoy the beautiful weather outside this weekend with some fun friends and as soon as we found out Miss Ella was going to be there, we jumped at the opportunity to dress the girls in yet another of their unworn matching outfits. This has to be around 15th matching outfits they have just this summer. We LOVE it and now have officially made Wednesday's matching days for them. I now... we are silly but loving every second and picture of it!!!

And don't worry, Carter wasn't left out... his best friend was there as well!

NO, we are not pregnant nor trying but we were lucky enough to get asked last minute by Megan and Mike to baby-sit Miss Ella Pearl!

She was PHENOMENAL and we had a blast all afternoon in the baby pool after dinner!

So sometimes, grandparents & other relatives like to spoil kids when their parents aren't around with candy and sugar... not us though! We had ONE goal for the night with Miss Ella Pearl... 

...and that was to get her DIRTY!!!!!

they ran into each other... but this only lasted 3 seconds and it was back to running...
