Then and Now: Growing Friends

A couple of days old compared to over 850 days old...

"Ella Perkins Wear This Too?????"

This is the question I get every single day, usually twice a day, when we are putting clothes on Addie.

We have created a bit of a monster but taking into consideration that these 2 girls' birthdays are 6 days apart and they have seen each other 80% of all of the days they have been alive (no exageration), 2 dozen matching outfits are not even thought of as crazy anymore for Addie and Ella... actually, it has become the norm. Since late May, the girls have matched every single Wednesday. Here are just a handful of the pics I snapped on my phone during drop off.

This last week, we were even able to coordinate Ella Madrid with the same shirt she had given the girls for their birthday.

I don't think I had ever posted the picture that Kelly Boerckel's sister, Melissa, did for the girls a couple of months ago....

Then and Now

August 2009 - Girls were 15 months old fascinated by a new thing called a water fountain.

August 2010 - The girls are 27 months old and even more engrossed by it.

Easy Clean Up!

It's great that my kid's have such cool parents that were all up for a super last minute dinner and swim at the pool this week. A home-made potluck hot meal combined with swimming = super clean house with no clean up! (a WIN WIN for both)

Pizza and Friends

We were invited to enjoy the beautiful weather outside this weekend with some fun friends and as soon as we found out Miss Ella was going to be there, we jumped at the opportunity to dress the girls in yet another of their unworn matching outfits. This has to be around 15th matching outfits they have just this summer. We LOVE it and now have officially made Wednesday's matching days for them. I now... we are silly but loving every second and picture of it!!!

Guadalupe State Park

The Perkins had the best idea, super last minute last night, about heading to a place I can't belive we have never been to before. It was a mere 26 minutes from our front door and one of the best day outings we have ever had! Thanks M&M for the invite and great idea! I know Megan has tons more pics that I can't wait to see. Carter was in ROCK HEAVEN here and O YES... one more thing... we DIDN'T EVEN PLAN ON GIRLS MATCHING and somehow it ended up happening on its own!!! Too funny. :)
