1st Annual Brown/Perkins Beach Trip To Port A

We ended our memorial trip with these pictures as we said goodbye to such a fun weekend. We promise we will be back VERY SOON!

Carter couldn't wait to get the beach for the very first time since he was 6 months old...

This was right when we hit the sand for the first time! I love this picture of the shadow of Blake lifting Addie up.

We played in the water a ton! Addie had absolutely NO FEAR of the water at all! She just kept walking and walking in the water.

Addie was always in 20 feet ahead of Ella, already up to her waist in water.

We fed the seagulls...

We played in the sand! Addie would get so mad when the bucket was to heavy to move! But with her mother's determination, she wouldn't give up! Carter just loved scooping up sand and running to the water and throwing it in the waves over and over and over...

We searched for sea shells... the yellow ones were the hot ones!

We boogie boarded a ton... such fun and a workout!

We danced the night away at the Port Royal pool!

In addition to getting to spend a long weekend with our best friends we got to hang out all Saturday afternoon with my dad, step mom - Nancy and sister - Danielle and her girl friends as well the "beach golf cart!" The kids, rather, ALL OF US LOVED it!

In anticipation all month of going to the "beach," Carter was most excited about seeing "CRABS?!?!?!" A sweet lady happened to bring him one and he FREAKED out and jumped in my lap! Meet "Hermie" our adopted crab for the weekend...

We made so many memories and confirmed the beach is the PERFECT spot for our two kids. They just couldn't get enough...

See more adorable pictures at the Perkin's Blog! Thanks Mike, Megan and Ella for making it such a wonderful weekend.
