Will Ferrell Is Visiting Us!

"Will Farrell" is our "Elf On The Shelf," that my wonderful step-sister Julie introduced me to last year and I bought for 75% off after Christmas last year!
If you are wondering what Elf On The Shelf is, he is a elf sent from Santa each year. His sole responsibility is to watch the children's behavior and to report it to Santa each night. The next morning, after Addie and Carter awake, they discover that he has returned from the North Pole and is resting in a different place! (One night Will was exhausted and forgot to fly off and stayed in the same spot and Addie figured it out fast!) They race around in the mornings trying to find out where he is. Believe it or not, Addie finds him first many mornings.

When Carter starts misbehaving, I bring up that Will Ferrell is watching and that he is going to see Santa tonight. I ask him, "What do you want him to report to Santa?" It seems to make him stop and think most of the time. At first Carter was VERY skeptical but in the last couple of weeks has been very excited about him. However, today, he told me that his best friend Cash, told him, Will Ferrell isn't magic. (Not very nice Cash McPeak!;))

  1. We have an elf visiting us from the North Pole too, who JD named "Jack-O-Lantern"! JD likes to throw him if his new spot is too low, so hopefully JOL has learned his lesson and will look for higher hiding places! :)
