With summer drawing to a close, we have really enjoyed our stress free weekends at the lake.
We got a new toy for the boat. The kids tried it out on land first...
Got their life jackets on...
And we got the party started...
Carter, in his 2 year old "summer of caution," opted to watch from the boat...
There was a poker run all around the lake on Saturday for Labor Day. Ya-Ya and Grandpa won $250 bucks! (They came and took this picture for the Kingsland newspaper!)
Last month, our lake visit was THE MOST RELAXING trip away we have ever made. It seems like packing up the 4 us is taking much less stuff, time and effort. It only takes about 20 minutes to get ready and leave. The kids have the 75 minute drive down solid. We spent the whole weekend relaxing, napping and just hanging out in the water.
