More Summer Fun!

This might sum it up... lots of water time and Popsicles. We are averaging about 10-12 hours in the pool each week and loving every second!
Carter got the meet the Spurs Coyote but more importantly the Spurs Coyote got to meet a future Spurs basketball player. ;)
The kids and I packed up for a morning at Sea World this past weekend, I let them look at the map and decided any where they wanted to go....
Of course, they chose the water.
Sunday night, we got a special treat and got to have pizza at the pool with YaYa and MeMa and show off all their new swimming under the water tricks!
Like I said, it really does seem like WATER has taken over EVERY aspect of our lives this summer and we LOVE it!

Memorial Weekend - Classic Lake Weekend

We can't quite put our finger on why this was such an extremely great weekend because we always have an amazing time while at the lake. However, these are just a few of the memories we want to keep close to our hearts.
One of my Top 10 pictures of ALL TIMES...
It definitely could be, in part, due to the simple things like wagon rides and straw hats.
Just maybe it was the fact that all clocks and computers were traded in for blow up pools!
Perhaps, long hour rides on the boat every evening & hour long Sea Doos rides every day.
Maybe it was the fun we had with the littlest things like shucking corn?
Possibly it was dying of laughter with the fact that Carter is obsessed with wearing anything and everything Spider Man however deathly afraid of tiny & harmless spiders on the boat dock?!?
Conceivably it could be the simple things we enjoyed together as a family like "Ring Around The Rosie" until everyone was laughing uncontrollably after we "fell down" each time.
For all one knows, it could have been the millions of bubbles we made this weekend. Bubbles just have a way of bringing smiles to every one's face.
As the case may be, I definitely think it's the fact that we are away from the stress of everyday life with nothing to take our attention away from one another.
Happy Memorial Day.

Mother's Day Keep Getting More & More Special.

As I grow older, I realize more and more how blessed I am with a healthy family and to be surrounded by such strong and beautiful women in my life.
I can't belive just a year ago, Addie couldn't even walk and her curls were just about to make their debut.
I feel so lucky and full-filled to have these two absolutely amazing, smart and healthy children.
My husband makes is the most incredible & perfect complement to me and I'm such a lucky girl to have found him (as my 94 year old grandmother pointed out to me, again, just this week! :))
